A Level Maths is available as an optional extra course for students on the T Level pathway.

Although the Application of Mathematical Principles for Engineering is an integral part of the T Level course, the additional rigour of the A Level Maths course will help students gain further insight into how advanced mathematical techniques can be used in Engineering and Design processes.

Having studied A Level Maths can also be useful for students thinking about destinations beyond Sixth Form including Degree Level Apprenticeships and some University courses.

Achieving Grade 6 at GCSE Maths is a minimum requirement to be able to study A Level Maths.
